Amgen Tour of California – Lodi’s Stage Two Finish

“America’s Greatest Race” is coming to our hometown on May 11th. World class cyclists, many of the same who race in the ‘Super Bowl’ of cycling, the Tour de France, will sprint into Lodi for the Stage Two finish of Amgen Tour of California. Join us along the route from Nevada City or at the finish line on Hutchins Street in the heart of Lodi. Bring the entire family for this epic event!

Pre-ZinFest Dinner with “Top Chef” Michael Midgley

Homegrown and talented, with appearances on “Top Chef” and winner of Food Network’s “Cut Throat Kitchen”, Michael Midgley will kick off our ZinFest weekend with a winemaker’s dinner. Midgley, a nationally recognized chef and owner of Midgley’s Public House, will be creating a multi-course dinner with unique wine pairings.

In honor of Zinfest we will be featuring the newest release of our granddaddy of Zins, Centennial. This notable Old Vine Zinfandel is sourced from a vineyard planted in 1903 and continues to wow with each vintage.

ZinFest Sunday Winery Tour & Lunch
Sunday, May 17th 11:00am – 4:00pm

Join us on Sunday in the Press Room for Zinfandel barrel tasting and more! Tours will be offered by appointment, at noon and again at 2pm. Spend an hour with Randy Lange learning about our winery and sustainable methods of farming. (Space is limited to the first 15 guests.)

Also, boxed lunches are also available, provided by neighboring Airport Café for $20.

LangeTwins Blending Experience
Saturday, June 6th 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Play winemaker for a day! Led by our winemaker, David Akiyoshi and enologist Juan Gonzalez, you will be fully immersed in the blending phase of winemaking by creating your own version of Midnight Reserve!

Working with the four components of Midnight Reserve, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot you will have the opportunity to learn about each varietal and how to combine them. By the end, you will take home two bottles of your master blend to show off to your jealous friends!

Wine Club Members: Please RSVP and join us for our next Wine Club Release Party, Thursday evening, April 23rd, from 4pm-7pm.

We have a brand new wine to share with you, as part of the Winery Exclusive Tier – small lot bottlings that can only be purchased from the winery.

Introducing, our 2014 Gewürztraminer from the Wheelhouse Vineyard in the Clarksburg Appellation.

For those who had the opportunity to sneak a barrel taste of the Gewürztraminer as it aged in our large oak puncheons, you’ll agree that this is going to be a fantastic summer sipper. Served slightly chilled, this wine is highly aromatic and floral with just a bit of sweetness.

Join us in the Press Room to get your first taste of this new release, as well as the other featured wines in your Club Selection and a few nibbles. We’re hoping for nice weather so we can host you outside on the Press Room Patio!

RSVP soon for our Release Party or plan on visiting the Press Room during our regular hours Thursday – Sunday, 11am – 4pm to grab your wines. The wines will be ready beginning April 24th.

Your wines will packed with care and shipped by April 27th – tracking information will be emailed to you so you know when to expect delivery.
